Bucky was a character who was set to appear in the film but was cut late in production, not much is known about him currently other than he would presumably been friends or part of the gang with RJ & Verne.
It is currently unknown who would have voiced him originally.

- He was one of the many characters that were cut from the film including Rufus the blue jay & Norbert the Owl.
- Although not the same character, another beaver appeared in the game Over the Hedge: Hammy Goes Nuts! named Boris.
- Had he not been cut he would've been the first beaver to appear in a DreamWorks animated film, that title would go to Paddler 18 years later in the 2024 film The Wild Robot.
- One of the three porcupine children is also named Bucky.
